Community Event 2012- "Do It In A Dress"

On Saturday, 3 November 2012, the local community is invited to attend a 1 hour yoga fundraiser at Pure Hot Yoga, Bayswater to help send girls to school in Africa.

Local resident, Kate Hall is hosting a "Do It In A Dress" yoga fundraiser at the studio and is encouraging people to wear a school dress so girls in Africa can wear one too.

Individuals who attend will be a part of larger movement around Australia and across the world who are all putting on school dresses to help send girls to school.

"People ran the Melbourne Marathon in a school dress, are holding cup cake parties in a school dress, there's even men who are going to work in a school dress. We wanted to encourage our local community to get involved too and do yoga in a school dress. It really isn't that hard, and is quite a lot of fun", Kate Hall says.

The event will be from 9:30am-10:30am and will feature 1 hour of yoga practice, live music and some delicious treats and refreshments. The class will suit all levels and dresses of all sizes will be available to buy at the studio with all proceeds going to the charity.

Entry to the event is by donation and 100% of the donations will go to charity. Those who wish to attend must register and can contact Kate Hall on purehotyoga1@gmail.com or drop into the studio at 1/1 James St, Bayswater.
