Nalini trained with Acharya Upendra Roy and has been teaching yoga for over 11 years - guiding particpants through a calm and deep practice that enables steady progress and helps each person to obtain the best from their practice.
The class style is traditional Hatha yoga where postures (asanas) are held for a period of time, helping to develop strength and flexibility. Classes are designed for all levels of flexibility and fitness, with clear instructions for beginners and sufficient intensity to challenge experienced practitioners.
Breath control (pranayama) and deep relaxation are fundamental yoga practices, essential to well-being - and ample time is set aside for these. Overall students leave the class feeling invigorated, calm and happy!
