About

I completed the IYTA International Yoga Teacher training course in 1993 and then furthered my teaching by doing the 2 year Yoga in Daily Life Teacher Training Course in 1998 & again in 2002 (A comprehensive yoga teacher training course involving trips to India).

I have been teaching gentle Yoga in Daily Life classes for 23 years in my home at St Ives Chase and various suburbs in Sydney. Yoga is taught systematically to prepare your body by first of all relaxing then stretching before practicing simple postures called Sarva Hitta Asanas; as one progresses with discipline you are able to move on to higher levels 2,3,4,5,6,7,8. With practice your body is prepared step by step for different pranayam (breath exercises), mudras (position) & bandhas (energy locks), hatha yoga kriyas (cleansing techniques) & Meditation.

All classes do include relaxation, postures (asanas), breath exercises (pranayam) & meditation to help you to release blocks in muscles & joints, clear all energy channels, re-balance physically, mentally, socially and spiritually thereby leaving the class feeling centred, calm, relaxed, balanced and in harmony with your surroundings.
