

Kundalini Yoga with Akal Tera
Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Akal Tera always loved yoga and was captivated with meditation. To immerse herself, she decided to become a certified teacher of Meditation and began teaching. A few years later she was persuaded by another meditation teacher to try Kundalini Yoga. To her delight she discovered the most complete, and what she can now testify to, as the ultimate practice. Yogi Bhajan told us that “if each different form of yoga is like a facet of a diamond, then Kundalini is the diamond itself”. She ascertains that practicing meditation on its own was only giving students one facet of the whole diamond which is “Kundalini”. Little did she know how incredibly healing, life-changing and all encompassing Kundalini could be. The privilege of teaching Kundalini Yoga is so rewarding.

Come to class in comfortable clothes, bring a water bottle an open mind and if it is your first class please arrive 15 minutes early. We begin the class with a short introduction of what the class will cover (eg which energy centre, or theme of the class) then move into some warm ups, do a set of yoga exercises (a kriya), long deep relaxation and a meditation.
