*Please note, due to family commitments I'm taking a break from regular teaching from Dec 2019*
For me, yoga is a wonderful practice for body and mind, enhancing our health, wellbeing and capacity to live well. I am interested in supporting each person to explore yoga in a way that best suits you, to support your wellbeing.
My philosophy of practice:
Respect: Your body, your practice. Full respect to your preferences, capacities and needs. Gentler practice or stronger practice are both supported
Kindness: Let us be friends with our bodies and minds. Practicing with kindness and compassion as we explore yoga practice with openness and acceptance
Courage: Taking courage to try new movements and breathe into challenge. Grace of courage to work gently and do less, when the body asks for compassion.
Joy: Lets hold our practice with lightness and ease. Connecting with the flow of life, through breathe, movement and deep rest
Peace:May yoga nurture peace and contentment within us all.
