Gentle yoga class is suitable for all the age groups and fitness levels. The classes are aimed at building strength and endurance for muscles, bones, ligaments and tendons; improving flexibility in the stiff areas and strengthening the weak parts of the body; stretching and toning muscles, nerves, blood and lymphatic vessels; balancing hormonal levels, especially stress-related.

Purna Yoga originates from Iyengar Yoga. Sharing the same background and the attitude towards props and alignment, Purna Yoga takes on board the practical experience and current knowledge of anatomy/physiology of modern urban people. I love the gentle and mindful approach of the style. Awesomely, the style somehow carries and transmits that subtle yet ever penetrating atmosphere of Byron Bay.

Being a Biochemist I used to have headaches after long hours in front of computers – the blessing and the curse of modern scientists. Along with an unusual workout, yoga exercises eliminated the headaches. I was fortunate to have good instructors and yoga friends at the beginning of my journey. Through them I went to workshops/retreats from different styles such as Yoga Synergy, Shadow Yoga, had a touch with Yoga 23. During these four years in Canberra I mostly attended classes with Yoga Mandir and I really liked sweaty Power Yoga; along with regular classes I participated in their “40 Days of Personal Revolution” program.
