About
It’s my greatest passion to help people overcome anxiety, depression and life challenges through a combination of counselling and yoga. I have been practicing yoga for over 35 years, became a certified yoga teacher 7 years ago.I am currently working as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and Counsellor. I am a Certified Counsellor with PACFA, a RYT Certified Yoga Teacher and VADR Certified Family Practitioner. I have extensive experience working with people struggling with depression and anxiety, addictions, people experiencing family violence within a trauma informed approach.
Julia combines yoga and counselling therapy. The approach here at The Path to Balance Yoga and Counselling is a unique mind-body approach, which integrates the science of psychology and the ancient practices of yoga and meditation.
The sessions contain breath work techniques, meditation, and yoga poses. This mind-body therapy is designed to deepen clients’ understanding of their emotional world and help to resolve concerns on a deeper emotional level, as well as a physical and psychological level. This unique modality combines the science of psychology and the ancient practice of yoga and targets anxiety, stress, depression, addiction, and trauma.
