The Integral Yoga Academy of Australasia (IYAA) was founded in 1979 and exists for the promotion of a greater understanding of the yogic principles and practices, to provide a contact system among yoga sadhakas and aspirants and to provide a lead-in to those life-enriching experiences which are the very essence of Yoga.
The IYAA provides both Personal Yoga Training and a Teacher Training program by Correspondence Study through the Classical Eight Limbs of the traditional system of Integral Yoga .
Smt. Linda Burr (principal of IYAA Adelaide Australia) a dedicated teacher in yoga for over 35 years continues to guide national and international students to increase their own personal and spiritual development or to become teachers in Yoga.
The IYAA has no bias towards any particular school of thought, instead the student is guided towards finding their own particular path according to their individual characteristics.
