WA's only Government Accredited Yoga training course for Advanced Diploma in Holistic Classical Yoga Practices is offered at Greenwood Yoga Academy.
About
Greenwood Yoga Academy was established in Greenwood in 1994 by Margaret and Keith Willcocks before moving to Wangara in 1999.
We promote Patanjali's eight limbed path of yoga in both theory and practice to be relevant in everyone's everyday life. We offer over 20 yoga classes to choose from per week.
We are very proud to be working with the following associations and to present free Yoga/Relaxation for their clients on a regular basis:
- The Cancer Council of WA sponsors a weekly class for cancer patients and their carers and those living with cancer.
- Carer's Association of WA - this class is conducted on the last Thursday of every month and sponsored by GYA.
- Leukemia Association of WA - this class is conducted on the last Thursday of every month and sponsposred by GYA.
Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist training: We present an excellent training course to international standards. This is the first and only government accredited Advanced Diploma of Holistic Classical Yoga Practices in WA and is recognised by:
- Yoga Australia and
- Australian Association of Yoga Therapists.
All teachers at our academy are members of Yoga Australia.
We also offer Yoga in the Workplace for the corporate sector who are seeking something special for their employees and clients.
