You are welcome to attend our yoga asana, meditation and kirtan programs where we offer a gentle, safe, wholistic approach to yoga integrating wellness for physical, mental and spiritual well-being.
About
Yoga asana classes help to increase strength and flexibility, strengthen and tone your muscles, balance hormones and flush all the internal systems in the body, cleansing and detoxifying them. Our classes also include breathing, relaxation and meditation which will help you to alleviate stress, relax the body, calm the mind, and live a more balanced life. At ASMY our classes are non- competitive and focus on safely progressing from easy to more challenging poses. If you haven’t been to an asana class before it is recommended to come to a few easy classes to learn the correct alignment first.
There is no need to book for any of our yoga asana classes you can simply turn up, however if you haven’t been to one of our classes before, please arrive a few minutes early to fill out a safety questionnaire. We supply mats free of charge, but if you have your own, please bring it along. There is a bike stand for 10 bikes.
