This two-day workshop will offer an introduction to Iyengar Yoga, learning the fundamental shapes and actions of the asanas (poses or postures).
This workshop provides a basic understanding of the technique and principles of yoga.
The teacher will demonstrate each pose and provide simple instructions suitable for a beginner’s ability and skill.
We focus on standing poses to build strength and ease of movement, increase general vitality and improve circulation, coordination, and balance. Postures for deep relaxation are also introduced.
Cost is $60, for two 1.5 hour sessions.
