In this 3 hour workshop we'll discuss and explore experiential connection and touch interactions to embody awareness, presence and breath in relation to touch.We will cover a range of topics related to professional touch:

+ the sacredness of relating with another being in this role of teacher

+ the power of breath in creating connection and deepening the relationship with self and with the sangha

+ linking your breath to the other (individual & group) for connection and unity (tantra)

+ discussion around the power of touch in building relationships with students, individually & collectively

+ mindfulness in movement through the space during class... how to be present with a duality of focus (group vs individual)+ Mutuality Exercises to explore staying connected to self and the other

+ areas of the body that may be sensitive or reactive

+ touch starvation and deep need in students/others/self+ connecting & disconnecting from another body with awareness

+ discussion around permission to touch & creating trust that leads to deeper surrender in asana

The content we will cover will impact your touch relationships in your personal life as well as in your work as a yoga teacher.

The session will be a translation of what I have learned from 17 years of one-on-one transformational bodywork, holding group space for emotional release and trauma healing, facilitating conscious touch events and studies & workshops in conscious sensuality and sexuality.
