supporting your emotional intelligence & range

while giving you tools to help you meditate effectively
and use your emotions for (no longer only emergency mode)

personal growth & nourishment - your emergence.

Empower yourself to move beyond emotional emergencies,
without shutting down.

Classes will cover:

 - Emotions, what are they? Their purpose and physiology, their impact on you - positive, negative and the difference - supporting your emotional intelligence

 - Meditations for Emotional 'First Aid' - your emotional crisis kit

 - Meditations for deep healing and long term shifts - to rewire you for a healthier emotional life

 - Gentle yoga/movement and yoga nidra to help with soothing and balancing your nervous system and build emotional resilience

Are emotions something you welcome in your life?

Do you get stuck in overwhelm? Or feel crippled by anxiety or fear??

Find you don't have healthy ways to address, FEEL or EXPRESS your emotions??

Perhaps you feel like your emotions drain you, or drag you around especially in those times when you just need to get a grip on things??

So often, we teeter-totter between emotional overwhelm, denial and even dissociation - these are just three ways that we effectively shutdown and hide from our emotional life and the rich potential that it offers us for growth, over drowning in the sea of our emotions.

Then, as we attempt to navigate these emotions better we find that we don't really have the tools, experience or examples of what that can even look like.

As a society, we have set up whole infrastructures to keep us distracted from our deeper emotional experiences - forget television as the drug of the nation.
With mobile phones we can be absorbed in virtual (un)reality and emoticons 24/7. This is not life.

And mindfulness, while its a fabulous technique, in the western world it doesn't really give us much fodder for dealing with our emotions, emotional life, and exploring the full bandwidth of those emotions. In life, it often ingrains further cutting us off from our emotional inner world - our heart.

One thing we are not about in practice and life, is cutting off.

If 'it' exists, and you have ways to safely experience 'it', then you can harness that energy for your growth and development - rather than the stifling, stuffing down or turning the other way that can actually rob you off realms of potential.

- A powerful emotional experience does not have to be an emergency -
