Description

“thousands of candles can be lit from one single candle and the life of the candle will not be shortened, happiness never decreases by being shared” The Buddha

Come along to this sacred women’s circle around the full-moon where we use astrology as a framework to cultivate a space of healing, self realization and community.  During these two hours we will…

Participate in restorative yoga – a style that allows us to dive deep into our physical being while being supported by blankets, blocks and bolsters. We immerse into our physical depths to start the healing process of what is already blocked or stagnant. A powerful practice allowing us to organically move from our head and into the body. A style suitable for all levels.

Meditation – dropping deeper into the parasympathetic nervous system through mindful meditation practices.

Community – coming together for support through our intuition and heart opening process.

Astrological – using the energies of our full-moon and diving deeper into personal soul work we need under these powerful cosmic configurations.  Giving us permission to move forward and heal through this soul work.

Weaving astrological, ancient philosophies, yogic and energy work into the group.  Most importantly cultivating a safe and supportive space for this process to organically unfold.

What to bring

An offering of some kind to the group. A flower, food, whatever you feel drawn to.  Comfortable clothes and a journal to scribe any experiences or insights you would like to read later.

About Kate:

Kate's own journey was once one of suffering. Her internal world created my external world to be chaotic and she lived comfortably in that space for the first 20 years of her life. Through that time she experienced poor space holding and traumatic therapy that enabled her to stay stuck and enabled in fear.

For the most part of her childhood and adolescence, she experienced an eating disorder and relational trauma. It was from that place that she decided it did not have to be that way and a conscious decision was made to put the past behind her and step forward in to a future of thriving.

She now helps others to thrive in their lives through a gentle, nourishing and challenging approach… She is a professional psychotherapist in private practice with specialist training working with trauma and eating disorders. Her work consists of using a bottom up and top down approach supporting an increased capacity for integration and wholeness. She uses trauma sensitive yoga and a gestalt phenomenological approach, enquiring through the body, to support a greater sense of embodiment and capacity for vitality. This underpinning philosophy and way of living allows this work to expand in to the other modalities that she offers.

She is a yogi who is forever being taught and teaches others to live a yogic lifestyle. She is blessed to have trained under Idit Hefer Tamir and Katie Manistas for her Level I in Yoga Teaching and since then, have furthered her studies and  trained with Nikola Ellis from Adore yoga for Meditation Certification, with Sarah Owen for Yin Yoga Certification and with Dr Melody Moore for Embody love yoga facilitation. Her trainings have also continued in to the field of trauma sensitive yoga online with David Emerson, the creator of this program whilst upgrading these studies in 2017. Her style of teaching yoga can be described as integrative and intuitive. She mainly teaches Yin yoga and a slow vinyasa flow. She is also trained in Reiki  and Tarot reading, two modalities of healing which allow people to engage with their own wellness path.
