Guiding you through your pregnancy journey

Dr Elizabeth & Dr Kathryn Johns from Eastern Osteopathy Melbourne

Discover the best way to care for you and your baby during pregnancy.

This workshop is perfect for you if you want to:

  • understand the changes that occur during pregnancy
  • gain tips and ideas on how to deal with common discomforts
  • learn about pelvic floor health and how to support your pelvic floor during and after pregnancy
  • discover techniques to help with labour and childbirth
  • explore ways to move the body and breath to support your pregnancy journey

Join Osteopaths Dr Liz Johns & Dr Kate Johns who will chat to you about the postural changes that occur during pregnancy and explain some of the discomforts you may be experiencing. They will also cover all important pelvic floor health during and after your pregnancy.

Together, Liz, Kate & Andy will then take you through some pilates and yoga therapy based techniques, outlining the importance of movement, exercise and breath during pregnancy.

Andy will then guide you through a 60 minute prenatal yoga practice, designed to build strength & stamina, flexibility & balance. She’ll offer tools to help you manage pregnancy discomforts and common conditions, as well as techniques for labour and beyond.

Complete your practice with a blissful yoga nidra meditation to leave you feeling supported, balanced & calm.

Your Presenters:

Dr Elizabeth Johns & Dr Kathryn Johns - (Eastern Osteopathy Melbourne) ~ Liz and Kate are qualified Osteopaths, each with over 13 years’ experience and regularly treat clients including pregnant women, new mums, newborn babies and children. They both have a particular interest in supporting women through all stages of their pregnancy and into motherhood.

Andrea Broadbear (YogaMamas) ~ Andrea is a qualified Yoga Therapist and specialist pre & postnatal yoga teacher. She is also a passionate yogi and mother of 2 (soon to be 3!) Andy’s prenatal classes are welcoming, informative and come from a space of experience and genuine care. She understands that pregnancy can be both an exciting and challenging time in a woman’s life and is passionate about supporting mamas-to-be on this journey.
