Forearm Stand Workshop
With Kula Teacher Stephanie Williams

Add more to your practice. Master your ability to transition into forearm stand (pinchamayurasana) and its variations with ease and confidence.

In this workshop you will:
- Strengthen the shoulders and core to stabilise you in your inversions.
- Open and release the thoracic spine and tight shoulders which restrict alignment.
- Learn the technique and mechanisms required for forearm stands and their variations.
- Build up to transitions and variations including scorpion moving to forearm wheel or lowering to baby crow.
- Build your confidence to fall safely and confidently without risk of injury.

Inversions build strength and body awareness, they also assist with clear thought and stimulate trust in the body's natural intuition.

This workshop is for you if:
- You would like to build strength and understanding of your own body and its ability.
- You have a growth mindset and willing to try new things.
- You want to move past the fear of going upside down or move away from the safety of the wall.

Investment: $40 ($32 Kula Tribe)
When: Saturday 14th October 2-4pm

This workshop will cater to all levels and give you the confidence to start to incorporate forearm stand in your practice or use this pose to enter into other variations.

Your Teacher: Stephanie Williams' love for the human body, its biochemistry and biomechanics, lead her to study Nutrition and Exercise Science at Deakin University. Stephanie knew she loved teaching and empowering people, so when the opportunity arose for Stephanie to do her yoga teacher training, she took it. It didn't take long before Stephanie realised how much she loved sharing the experience of yoga with her students. She strongly believes that her job as a teacher is to meet her students where they are on any given day and help them connect and trust their body. Stephanie works within the framework of her students goals and provides them with a meaningful practice that empowers them to achieve.
