TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE
Full Moon in Aries
Get Real & Get Going
Many will celebrate Saturn’s final departure from Scorpio. It’s been tough going. The combination of Saturn’s insistence that we assume responsibility for our lives and Scorpio’s demand that we embrace even the darkest and most difficult aspects of the self has necessitated facing up to some thorny truths. Time to demonstrate to the world just what we can do with all this wisdom we’ve accrued.
There are no short-cuts where Saturn’s concerned. We earn our rewards and must prove our worth. But remember, Saturn’s worth is not that of the world but of the spirit, which knows that the material realm is the stage on which we live this life, not the be all and end all of everything. We must learn to live in the physical and manage its resources whilst feeding our spirit and knowing ourselves as so much more than simply this dense being. In Sagittarius Saturn helps us do this, reminding us there is always a greater design in which we play a part, whether or not it can be seen from our vantage point.
This Saturn is the phoenix rising from the flames of Scorpio, born anew from the heat that has burnt off so much in the past few years. It deepens our roots in the physical realm whilst uplifting us to embrace the formless ones. Saturn in Sagittarius reminds us that inspiration is only of use when we can turn its visions into reality, otherwise it distracts from the more enduring gumption necessary to manifest much needed change. We may aspire to all manner of things but nothing will come of ungrounded inspiration. Action is needed, commitment vital. Saturn places our hopes and dreams in the crucible of manifestation. Its arrival in Sagittarius heralds the time to test them out against reality and shape the future with a deeper commitment to being our fullest, wisest and most authentically engaged selves.
