This is the introduction to the 250+ Yoga Alliance vinyasa flow yoga teacher training. Within these 10 days we will explore the foundations of our vinyasa flow practice. We will reintroduce ourselves to old favorites such as the down dog,(Muktasana) the plank (plankasana) cobra (bujangasana) and trikonasana. This module is designed toliberate rigid approaches and attitiudes and assisting the student towards a deeper understanding of their bodies and their yoga practice.
In week two we introduce the standing pose flow, a comprehensive standing pose sequence, introducing veravidrasana one, and two, forward bends and standing balances. As we move from one asana to the next we generate focus, strength and clarity, qualities which guide us to a deeper connection with ourselves and our yoga.
Commencing at 8am daily, this 8 hr day offers skydance yoga students an opportunity to deepen their yoga practice by learning about the theory behind the practice, a deep anatomy component, and an opportunity to play with paint and journalling to help us to understand flow.
