In this class 'Yoga to Balance the Thyroid' we will be doing postures that ultimately help to stimulate the thyroid gland and give support to the adrenals. These are such postures as shoulderstand, fish pose, locust, bridge pose, back bends in fact a whole range of postures that have some kind of involvement with the neck and in particular, the throat. And so of course the postures are not limited to only supporting the thyroid, I could go on and on, depending on the posture we are talking about, spinal alignment, improved digestion, calming to nervous system, improved energy....just to name a few. So therefore, don't think you need a thyroid issue to enjoy or benefit from this class.
