Description
Yoga Competitions have been held in India for hundreds of years with Bikram and Rajashree Choudhury winning a number of times each.
Competition starts with the self, as this is usually where we find our hardest battles and the idea of a yoga competition helps us realise our strengths and weaknesses.
Past competitors in this event are amazed at the sense of non competition between each other and develop an awareness of self that they haven’t experienced before.
Entrants will demonstrate 5 compulsory and 2 advanced postures of their choice and be judged on each one.
The winners will be crowned Australian champion and be flown to Los Angeles to compete in the world championship. This year there will be a men's women's and youth division!
