Daintree Rainforest Retreat

Join us in paradise in a rainforest hideaway, just minutes from the white sands of Cape Tribulation. Enjoy yoga in a beautiful, elevated room with hard-wood floors and open eaves so you'll feel the soothing tropical breezes as you enjoy our deeply nurturing yoga classes. The retreat offers two yoga classes per day (7.30am and 5pm) which include general level asana (poses), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation and an introduction to the 5 Koshas - the subtle layers of the body, mind and spirit. No prior yoga experience is required and, because the group is limited to 10 participants, we will be adapting each practice to the needs of every individual student. 

As well as 5 nights of yoga and meditation, you'll enjoy the best home-cooked vegetarian food you’ve ever tasted, prepared with love by Prema Shanti's very own goddess of the kitchen, Mara!

When I booked this retreat I had decided to only immerse myself in the yoga and was surprised to see my hand shoot up when asked if anyone wanted a massage from the decadent menu Suzanne had provided. As you know I was extremely impressed with my first massage and booked a facial with her on the spot for the next day. What was the piece de resistance however was the massage I got from Andrew on our last day which was so much more than the remedial massage I was expecting. Next time I won’t wait for my last day to book with Andrew as even though my hour massage felt like two hours, I could easily have had many more!

Your generosity in sharing your knowledge, insight and gift of yoga with me will stay with me always and act as a benchmark for my future expectations of what I want from a yoga instructor. I am very lucky to have met you and I have no doubt we will meet again regularly throughout our lives.
