The wintry Queens Birthday Long Weekend is an ideal opportunity to relax and restore body and mind. Restorative yoga allows us to find a place of relaxation and renewal via physical postures (often supported by props), and focusing on our breath.
No effort. No ego. And definitely no pretzel poses as Restorative yoga offers you permission and space to nourish and nurture yourself.
During this workshop we will find a mindful connection with our breath, and let it unwind us and move us, and help us to let the busy nature of life take a back seat for a few hours.
Our toolkit will include mindfulness and breathing; supported yoga poses (yes, that means using all of those props in the yoga room) that will allow us to take time in each and every pose to allow the muscles to soften and lengthen, and soften some more; and yoga nidra (a guided meditation that's akin to being about 3 hours in credit the sleep bank).
All that you need to bring is you.
