Shiva Shakti Yoga came to Byron Bay through Nick Bradley (Yogi Sadashiv) and Radha Rani who both after many different teacher trainings met in Rishikesh, Northern India under the practice of Akhanda Yoga with Yogi Vishvketu. With an insight into yogic philosophy yoga becomes even more beneficial and helpful in bringing harmony and balance to our lives. Shiva Shakti is the eternal dance of two energies, they represent the male and female forces that linked together become whole, they are permanently in perfect union, just as yoga means union.

It had been a dream of Nick and Radha's to own a studio where they could really bring all the benefits of yoga to willing practitioners and after meeting fellow yogini Emily Bolack their dream became realised. With Emily's interest in allignment and Iyengar, Radha's love of bhakti yoga and Jivamukti and Nick's background in Ashtanga and cleansing, shat karma, they believed they could offer people a well rounded form of yoga, bringing in all the elements that can be used not just in the studio but off the mat in daily life.

The studio is fully equipped and has a gentle uplifting energy perfect for practice, and is excitingly just above The Circus Arts space in the industrial estate in Byron Bay. This also brings in acro yoga and a fun cross over between the circus and yoga. The space can also be used for workshops and group courses. Classes are suitable for all levels from beginner to advanced.

Shiva Shakti is now an affiliate school with World Conscious Yoga Family following the teachings of Yogi Vishvketu and will be running an Akhanda Yoga Teacher training in November 4th to December 1st 2013 in Byron Bay.
