This module is for all yoga practitioners and yoga teachers who want to delve deeper into the inner aspects of yoga. For every yoga practitioner, teacher and aspiring therapist, the content of this module is very important. Yoga is practiced and applied on human individuals. Therefore, complete understanding of the human individual is the basic pre-requisite.
In this module yogic anatomy, physiology and psychology are dealt with extensively taking concepts from various Upanishads and many yogic texts. Participants will be introduced to what they are in reality and what their real essence is. In particular, we will study the therapeutic implications of the study of this human constitution.
This 9 day residential training may be taken as a stand alone course and is also the second module of the VHF Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy - Australia's most comprehensive therapist training. It will be presented by DR NC MBBS, on of the world's most experienced yoga therapists.
Please Note: Pre-requisites do apply. If you wish to participate in this course or undertake the Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy (PGDYT), you need to have covered the Foundations material and Module 1 PGDYT. You may do this by joining our special Foundations of Yoga Therapy course 3-14 April in Sydney.
