Join Miriam van Doorn for a beautiful systematic approach into the challenging pose of Hanumanasana. This pose is named for the Hindu God Hanuman, and represents the supernatural leap he made from the southern tip of India to the island of Sri Lanka.
Hanumanasana requires flexibility in both the front and back legs. The front leg requires hamstring suppleness, and the back leg requires openness in the hip flexors (Iliopsoas). Hanumanasana is also the perfect pose to practice patience, but the real magic of this pose in is the opening that happens along the way. In other words, it’s the journey, not the destination.
In this enchanting workshop expect to be taken on a journey through Mindful Vinyasa, Restorative Yin Poses, Magical Storytelling and a Yoga Nidra (lying down meditation). Hanumanasana brings many benefits, including toned and strengthened muscles of the legs and abdomen; improved digestion; and greater confidence and courage to make the big leaps in life! Cost $40
