The Intro to Yoga Course explores:
~ What is Yoga?
~ The Breath
~ Foundational postures
~ Central alignment to guide you towards a safe, sustainable practice
~ The JOY of it!
A 6 week course (1 class per week), designed for those coming to Yoga for the first time. You will explore your breath, and the effects of it; understand central aspects of physical alignment that will help you get the most out of your practice, and keep it safe and sustainable over time; explore some of the basic postures, and briefly some of the core less tangible aspects of the practice.
For those with little or no Yoga experience, this course will allow you to access a greater sense of understanding and ease as you join in casual classes.
12 spaces only, to allow for personal attention and the space for questions if they arise.
TEACHER:
Diane brings an enthusiasm and great spark of life to her classes, helping you to relax if you're a little nervous, and giving you the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful exploration at your own pace.
