Description
Having a baby? Nervous about what to expect? Want effective, loving support from a confident support person?
This 2 hour workshop will educate and empower you and your birth support person. You will learn a range of techniques to manage labour pain naturally including:
- Yoga postures
- Breathing techniques
- Meditation
- Vocal toning
- Visualisation
There will be a focus on your support person (usually the father but may also include a friend or your mum). All questions, great and small, will be addressed in a light-hearted, supportive atmosphere.
This workshop will cover all the things the hospital antenatal classes don't teach you! You'll leave feeling excited and overjoyed about welcoming your baby into the world!
Amanda Vella is an advocate of natural birth and gave birth to her second daughter at home in 2010. She is passionate about shifting the way people think about birth.
