The retreat will also include a focus on eating healthy vegetarian food cooked by Ayurvedic Food and Lifestyle Consultant Anna Fantasia from "Vibrant Healthy Living". As part of the retreat we invite you to take part in the food preparation to directly experience and learn the Ayurvedic approach to food.
TUTORS
Ruth Gent and Frani Wilde will lead you in a range of wonderful yoga practices including sequences, asanas, pranayama, meditations and walks with a focus on vibrant health and wellbeing.
Ruth Gent is a Senior Dru Yoga Tutor with a background as a Natural Therapist, Corporate Facilitator and Science Teacher. Ruth has been teaching the Dru Yoga Teacher Training courses for 10 years and has a passion for helping people learn, grow and transform.
Frani Wilde is a Dru Yoga Tutor and a physiotherapist with an incredible knowledge of the human body. Frani knows how to tailor yoga precisely for the individual to maximise health and wellbeing. Frani was the owner of "Wellness on Yorkes", a health and wellness practise for a range of therapists for many years. She is also currently studying for her Certificate in Ayurveda.
Both Ruth and Frani are regular tutors on the Dru Yoga Teacher Training course and are currently Anatomy & physiology tutors on the first Dru Yoga Therapy Course in Australia
Accommodation is dormitory style with 10 bunks per room of which only five will be allocated resulting in a maximum of 5 people per room. Shared bathroom facilities are at the rear of the accommodation block linked to the dormitories.
A small number of 2 person rooms are available with en-suite. These will be allocated on an individual needs basis and an extra fee may apply. If you have any particular requirements which require a seperate room please contact Ruth 0401288921.
You may choose to stay offsite and join us for all meals and activities. The charge for the retreat will remain the same.
