The cooler months are the perfect time to look inwards and protect and conserve our energy. Welcome the yin season of winter with this deeply nourishing and rejuvenating practice.
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five-Element Theory, Winter is the water element and associated with the kidneys, bladder and adrenal glands. In this class we will explore the physical, mental and emotional functions of the kidneys as we move through a sequence of yin based postures aimed at protecting and nourishing our energy. A little bit of yang and heat will be added at the end of the practice in the form of some winter warming chai.
This class is donation
based and all proceeds will go to The Yoga Foundation.
The Yoga Foundation is a
non-profit organisation with a social focus and evidence base, set up to offer

in communities experiencing disadvantage.
