Hormone Yoga Therapy (HYT) was developed about 20 years ago by Dinah Rodriguez, a Psychologist and yoga teacher from Brazil. Dina is 84 years old today and lives in Brazil. Jutta Wohlrab was trained by Dinah and only teachers who were trained directly by Dinah are officially allowed to teach this style in the world.

HYT was originally designed for women in the menopause or premenopausal stages and her research has shown that when her sequence was practised frequently it was helpful in eliminating or minimizing the discomfort that most women experience in these times of changes; hot flushes, sweating, irritation, sleeplessness etc… It became evident that her practice was helpful also amongst those trying to conceive and for anyone who suffers from hormonal irregularities, irregular periods or PMS.

With energetic exercises of yoga, specific pranayama, asana and Tibetan energy techniques it acts directly on the endocrine system, adrenals and ovaries. Please note this workshop is suitable for women with or without yoga knowledge and experience.

Jutta Wohlrab is a practising midwife and yoga teacher and being a woman, working as a midwife and having a huge background in natural therapies, she has always been involved in women’s health .

She has been teaching these workshops in Germany since 2010 and was also Dinah’s personal translator at the yoga festival in Berlin in 2011. Dinah still continues to teach at her age and amazes the whole world with her message and discoveries.
