FINDING THE KEY TO UNLOCKING YOUR BANDHAS WITH LEE BACHAR ADLER
We often hear a teacher instructing us to “activate Mula Bandha” or “Jalandhara Bandha” and we may have little or no idea what that means or how to do it.
The Bandhas are an essential part of the practice of yoga, both physically and energetically, keeping us safe from injuries. They are, however an extremely vague concept which is most often not explained correctly or misunderstood, leaving us, the students, confused.
In this workshop we will explore our understanding of the “lock” concept in relation to Asana and Pranayama practice, and Lee will help us relate to these ideas and practices in a friendly and understandable way. We will also learn the effect they have on our physical and mental bodies when applied in our practice.
