Okido Yoga Teacher & Social Worker

For me the meaning and value of teaching Okido Yoga is to experience in class and life the happiness, harmony and strength this unique practice gives. Attending one class a week we change our minds, attending two classes a week we change our bodies and doing yoga every day we change our lives.

I studied Okido Yoga with Peter Masters and graduated from Yoga Life Training in 2016. Yoga compliments my social work background. I strongly believe in the concept ‘Healing with Movements & Living in Harmony’. Okido Yoga is a complete practice of mind, body and soul. We laugh a lot in class, especially in our partner yoga practice. This training is my compass towards a healthy lifestyle that starts with embracing every day with gratitude.

I teach Thursday mornings 6-7 am at Zen Central. It’s so beneficial to start our morning with yoga practice. Each class has a different intention but every lesson is anchored in that regular morning practice to assist us in being in the NOW by embracing a moment of peace to enhance our daily productivity and focus. While toning, flexing and strengthening our bodies.

I truly believe we grow younger in body, mind and spirit with yoga, it brings out the child in us not by being childish but rather child like.
