Always wanted to try yoga but too scared you wouldn’t know a downward dog from a baby cobra? Then this 6 week course is for you.
Over four weeks we will cover the foundations of a Hatha Yoga practice including breathing, Sun Salutations, Standing Poses, Seated Poses, Backbends, Inversions and Meditation. This workshop will also cover modifications for injuries for anyone who needs them.
By the end of the course you will be fine to attend any of the general classes on the schedule and will have a solid basis for your future yoga practice!
No experience required, mats are available for hire ($1 donation to UNHCR).
Runs on Thursdays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, 15 September to 6 October 2017
