Weekend Yoga Intensive with Scott Read - Yoga for Containment
How do we develop our yoga practice to hold us in tough times?
What can we do on the mat that equates to containing ourselves, holding ourselves to account, when everything around us is in flux, in pain or turmoil?
Working with strong emotions and staying present to them on the yoga mat is a true gift, not always an easy task and one that, often, takes us further into knowing our true being.
Join Scott as he explores asana, active and restorative, pranayama and meditation as a means to holding true to self; accessing a yoga practice, on and off the mat, to contain ourselves through the turbulence of life.
This Intensive is open to students with a minimum of 6 months Iyengar Yoga experience, with understanding of shoulderstand and working towards headstand. (Beginner 2 & up)
