Why do many people including yogis end up with pain or discomfort in the lower back, outside of the knees, Sciatica, Sacroiliac joint problems, at the outer side of the hip?
This workshop will address reasons as to why people may suffer with hip-muscle weakness and body alignment problems causing this pain.
This session is about combining important biomechanics so that the body works harmoniously.
There a 7 primal movement patterns :
Lunging, Squatting, Bending, Twisting, Pushing , Pulling and Gait
Carmela will look how these functional movements can be better incorporated into the practice so you can work towards maximising important muscle groups that provide stability.
We will look at
ANTERIOR AND POSTERIOR TRUNK MUSCLES – Greater core access
HIP JOINT MUSCELS – for greater stability, strength and flexibility
THE SHOULDER JOINT AND SHOULDER GIRDLE MUSCLES – strengthening and stabilising to decrease the risk of injury.
PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER with a Functional Integrated Yoga Class.
