The kidney and bladder meridians govern the back of the body, the realm of the unseen and the vast domain of the Water Element.
Under the influence of the element of water is the season of winter and all that is contracted and still. Like the quality, depth and clarity of a lake, the immeasurable wilderness of the sky, winter is the season to go in deep and find stillness.

Physically the journey of the water element traces the nervous system as it descends down the back of the body, from the inner eyes to the feet, pooling between the kidneys at the Hara centre. From the cranial space to the spinal space to the flow of the dural fluids, aiming to undo any blockages on the river bed, straighten the psychic antennae and open ourselves to the depth and breadth of our stillness and potency.

This intensive will focus on strengthening the muscles that support the spine, relieve the common places that hold stagnancy and blockage and invert the whole to help distil and extract our finest silence, our brightest potential.

Life, death, flow, power and purification are held in the water element. Join us as we plumb the inner depths.
