Yoga for Anxiety and depression

This special yoga workshop will introduce postures with props,

meditation and breathing exercises and Deep soulful relaxation[Yoga

Nidra] which have been shown to alleviate the symptoms of depression

and anxiety.

This workshop is open to all students with or without yoga experience. In

this 2 hour workshop the students will experience how the body and

mind can work together to create peace, happiness and wellbeing. This

would be a wonderful adjunct to individual therapy,and is compatible

with other conventional and alternative therapies.

Connie Robinson is a 500hr Yoga Teacher and Meditation Teacher.

She loves the regenerative and rejuvenating aspects of Restorative Yoga.

She believes adding restorative poses to her yoga practice was crucial in

creating balance in her life and maintaining both and emotional and

physical wellbeing
