Would you like to escape the cold of winter for a week? Would you like a tropical island holiday at one of the world highest rated, fully sustainable eco-holiday resorts? Would you like to spend that holiday in an absolute waterfront bungalow overlooking a coral lagoon? Would you like to swim and snorkel with fish, turtles, and manta rays whilst floating over one of the most pristine coral reefs in the world? Would you like to learn about how the rhythms of your body are connected to the rhythms of the moon, ocean and this amazing planet we ride through space on?
If you answered yes to any of these, then you're in luck! From June 17-22nd 2018 I'll be co-hosting a very special retreat on Lady Elliot Island, the southernmost part of the great barrier reef. I'll be leading daily yoga and meditation classes in the mornings, and in the afternoons I'll be handing over to our co-host, Dr Scarla Weeks from the University of Queensland. As an Ocean Scientist and lifetime lover of the ocean, she'll be talking to us about the interconnectedness of our bodies, our subtle yogic energy, and our planet, and guiding us on our adventures in the pristine waters of Lady Elliot Island.
We've also planned the retreat to coincide with peak Manta Ray season and Humpback while migration; chances are that each day you'll be able to hear whalesong underwater whilst diving with the mantas, and of course there's the huge quantity of resident turtles to hang out with! It'll also be winter Solstice whilst we're there; one of the most powerful celestial events of the year!
The cost is $2195 twin share for 6days/5nights, and includes scenic charter flights to/from Hervey Bay, full buffet breakfast and dinner, accommodation, glass bottom boat trip, guided reef and nature walks and snorkeling lessons and equipment, plus (of course) all instruction from both Scarla and I.
