Description

The Haven is an idyllic retreat centre overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Emu Park (nearest airport Rockhampton). It's perfect for immersing yourself in Iyengar Yoga and being looked after with delicious vegetarian meals. We'll start with pranayama in the morning and do an asana and an inversion class each day, with time in between for resting or walking on the beach. Being on retreat allows us to enjoy practice away from the distractions of everyday life. It's time to ourselves to centre, re-energise, re-connect and focus. Making space for your yoga, prioritising your process by taking time out to devote to it, allows for things to come up that can otherwise be suppressed in the busyness of life. This then allows us to move beyond our limitations and become more free. Linda Apps runs The Yoga Nook in Sydney. She apprenticed to Peter Thomson and studies with Pixie Lillas. She has studied with the Iyengar family in Australia and India and has a JI3 Iyengar certificate, qualifying her to teach teachers. An optional teacher training workshop is included in the price.

Twin ensuite rooms available at $1,180 per person.

Optional sunset sail  $55 extra.

Included for $1180 per person twin share

- all meals (vegetarian)
- meditation
- optional teaching workshop
- 4.5 days yoga tuition by Linda Apps, a Junior Intermediate Level 3 Iyengar teacher who has been teaching yoga for over 20 years and runs The Yoga Nook in Dulwich Hill, Sydney.
