Bliss Out In Bali is held at the Ananda Cottages in Ubud, renowned as the cultural and traditional heart of Bali, in the beautiful mountains surrounded by untouched jungle.  Ananda Cottages are a unique, traditional style of accommodation owned and run by a local family. The cottages are in the middle of lush rice paddies; green fields surround our studio. Research indicates spending time in nature leads to faster recovery from stress, decreases mental fatigue, restores mental clarity, increases sense of wellbeing, improves physical health and healing, and even improves performance.

Imagine waking to the sounds of nature, strolling through the beautiful tropical garden to meet for meditation practice and exhilarating Yoga class with Tamara in our stunning, wood floored, open-air yoga studio. Picture eating delicious, healthy food with great, like- minded people after your blissful, extended yoga practice. Then you might have a massage, go explore Ubud, visit the Elephant Safari Park, the Monkey Forest, attend an Indonesian cooking class…or maybe you’ll just have a rest.

Your free time is just that –there is nothing you ‘have’ to do. Imagine such luxury of time… Your afternoon yoga practice supports you in integrating the wisdom of a great lineage of teachers into your experience both on and off the mat, and you leave class feeling more inspired, lighter, and more open to possibilities in life. By the end of the retreat you’ll feel focused, refreshed, happier and amazingly peaceful.

We’re looking forward to yoga in the gorgeously, warm climate of Bali, delicious tropical fruit, deluxe massages and great times and hope you will be there to share it with us. The retreat will be lots of fun with yoga morning and afternoon and a meditation class each morning. You will have free time each day to rest and explore Ubud. There are great restaurants and shopping close by as well as a range of massage and Ayurvedic treatments available at very reasonable rates.

The retreat begins with an introductory session on Friday August 10th at 5:30pm and concludes after the 10am brunch on Thursday August 16th. Check-in time is 1:00pm. Check-out time is at noon.

Previous students have found the deep immersion in yoga on retreat profoundly enriching. We keep our retreat numbers small so you receive individualized instruction but limited places mean you need to book early.
