Description

Join us for a guided walk down to the stunning No. 16's Back Beach in Rye. 

Lionel will educate everyone in his easygoing manner on bush-tucker, medicines, share knowledge of Indigenous culture & this ancient landscape. Enjoy a didgeridoo led meditation whilst taking in the gorgeous ocean views.

Please wear closed toe walking shoes, sunscreen, dress for all weather & bring a bottle of water.

Notes:

  • All children under 16yrs must be accompanied an Adult
  • Distance: Approximately 1.8 km up and back (no wheelchair access)
  • There are no rest rooms at No. 16's Beach

Lionel Lauch is a Gunditjmara Kirrae Wurrung-Bundjalung man, who  lives on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia.     Passionate about his cultural heritage and people, Lionel embraces the opportunity to share his knowledge of the land and educate others about his culture through guided walks 'on country', didgeridoo healing meditations,   smoking ceremonies and talks.

We will be car pooling from Southern Yoga and Health Centre, leaving around 2.00pm, and after the walk, we will be going somewhere in the area for dinner.
