This course has been designed to introduce and familiarise you with the key 6 principles of Pilates: Breath, Centering, Control, Concentration, Precision and Flow. Experienced instructor Tracy will guide you with kindness and care through the foundational movements of Pilates so you feel comfortable and at ease to attend weekly classes.
In Pilates, you are encouraged to continually connect with the breath as you engage in the movements and to bring your awareness into the body by using the deep stabiliser muscles. Throughout the course, you’ll discover Pilates is an amazing tool to develop flexibility and mobility and to condition deep stabiliser muscles to help you create a stable and balanced body.
It is through the slow, precise and mindful movements of Pilates you will activate and align your body systems, leaving you feeling regenerated and refreshed.
