The Facilitators & Teachers:
'Hi - We’re Sharon, Cyd and Emma, three women in our 40s, passionate about enabling women to age differently; accepting and working with where we’re at, not against it.'
We have each transitioned through a number of changes in our lives and rediscovered ourselves through illness, trauma, and divorce. We’ve lived in the city and in the country; we’ve worked in offices and in the home; we’ve traveled and we’ve settled; we’ve been employed and we’ve been business owners. Between us, we’re writers, artists, musicians, healers, yoga teachers, somatic sex educators, communicators, mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and lovers. We’ve learnt how to find comfort in discomfort and to embrace both our light and our shadows. We know how to flow with life and we want to hold the space for you to do the same.
Sharon Sztar is a workshop and retreat facilitator, presenter, mentor and writer based in Byron Bay. A former marketing and communications corporate executive, in 2012 she traded in city life for the tranquil NSW Northern Rivers to heal from a chronic illness. During her recovery she discovered just how far removed we are from the ‘natural way of things’ and how detrimental this has become to our wellbeing, in particular for women. Allowing her body and nature to guide her healing, Sharon’s work is now focused on inspiring women to re-connect with their innate and instinctive ways to lead healthier, happier and more rewarding lives. She achieves this by gifting women with the space to come ‘home’ where they too can discover their own inner wisdom and healer.
Incorporating elements of nature, journaling, ‘stillness’ yoga, sound and body awareness techniques, Sharon’s sessions will provide the space to access your inner healer and intuitive wise woman. She will also introduce you to components of her ‘seasonal life’; a way of eating, moving and living in accordance to nature’s rhythms.
