Are you new to yoga & don’t know where to start? Our 10 week Beginner Yoga Course is an excellent foundation course for students new to yoga, aimed at all ages, levels of flexibility & abilities. In a comprehensive systematic method you will learn the basic fundamentals of yoga postures including technical alignment, benefits of the poses, breathing, basic yoga philosophy and its applications to daily life. This is a supportive and encouraging learning environment and is highly recommended as an introductory start to yoga before attending casual classes.

Julie Gargano is the original founding director of Prana House, creator of Pranaa Yoga, pioneer of Amrit Yoga & Amrit Method Yoga Nidra in Australia (USA), director & principle teacher trainer of Prana House Yoga Teacher Training, Level 3 Senior Yoga Teacher (Yoga Australia), visionary, artist and transformation facilitator with over 20 years of experience in the yoga & wellness industry.
Julie has an extensive background in body, mind & spirit which include professional ballet dancer, violinist, spiritual healer, yoga & meditation teacher. Julie has trained in Australia and the USA in variety of disciplines including Iyengar Yoga, Amrit Yoga, Amrit Method Yoga Nidra, Pranic Healing, Arhatic Yoga & Access Consciousness.
Julie is well loved and highly respected as a teacher and holds a dedicated stance in supporting her students to find a deeper connection within. Carrying the voice of authentic yoga, she seamlessly merges the physical and spiritual dimensions where you effortlessly access finer states of Being in which a more purposeful & engaging life can be experienced.
Julie has been blessed to train directly with the world renowned yoga master, Yogi Amrit Desai, USA, founder of Amirt Yoga Method. Julie pioneered Amrit Yoga in Australia in 2005 and has since introduced Amrit Yoga Teacher Training Australia (AYTTA). As the director & principle teacher of AYTTA she skillfully facilitates deep & powerful classes which carry out profound healing and shifts in consciousness for her dedicated student following.
In 2006, Julie Gargano founded Prana House, one of Australia’s most beautiful yoga & wellbeing sanctuary. This Melbourne treasure is widely recognised both nationally & internationally as a unique centre of yoga, healing & personal growth and emanating grace & integrity in serving humanity. After a 4 year period of Prana House being under new ownership, in September 2014 Julie Gargano made a return as owner & director.
Julie’s inspired teachings have taken her across the globe from Australia, USA, England, France, Italy & Bali. Julie is committed to pass on sacred yoga that was so lovingly shared with her from her respected teachers.
