Description

Prana Shuddhi Meditation Sunday 13th October

Traditional yoga techniques work gently to recharge the reservoir of Prana - vital force—  a sea of living energy as indispensable to our health as the oxygen and nutrients carried by the bloodstream. These energies are the purest and most precious fuel for life. When the vital reserves are depleted through illness, environmental pollutants or stress, we suffer dis-ease. We can support our health and vitality and extend our active, healthy years by consciously replenishing this Prana.

This workshop includes physical internal detox practices as well as specialised bandha, pranayama, yoga nidra & meditation practices.

Benefits of Laghoo Shankaprakshalana -Hatha Detox:

· Physically, laghoo shankhaprakshalana alleviates digestive problems and tones the liver and other digestive organs and glands.

· It strengthens the immune system, reduces excessive mucus and purifies the blood.

· Laghoo Shankhaprakshalana recharges the entire pranic body, removes blockages from the nadis and purifies all the chakras.

· The harmony of the five pranas is restored and the energy level is raised.

· It calms the mind and prepares the way for higher states of consciousness.

· Any sadhana (practices) performed after the cleansing practices gives manifold results.

· Neti: Nasal wash: very helpful for allergies & sinus problems
