Take your first step towards developing a personal mindfulness practice.

Mindfulness has been somewhat of a buzzword over the last decade. You may be wondering what all the fuss is about.

Perhaps you’ve heard the scientific evidence pointing to its effectiveness in reducing stress, anxiety, panic, depression or chronic pain. Or perhaps you’ve heard of other people finding  more meaning and happiness when they added a mindfulness practice to their life. Or perhaps you’re a healthcare professional, and you know that mindfulness is an essential part of any smart self-care routine.

Whatever your motivation to learn mindfulness, this is a great place to start.

If you’re thinking that your mind is too busy to learn mindfulness, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Rest assured we’ll teach you how to navigate a busy mind. If you’re concerned you ‘won’t be good at it’, we’ve got an excellent teacher who’ll make learning mindfulness easy and enjoyable.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

* The four foundations of mindfulness

* Lying down and seated mindfulness practices

* An informal mindfulness technique that you can use to pause and check in with yourself anywhere, anytime

* Strategies for befriending your mind

* Techniques for investigating emotional states with curiosity and acceptance

* The basics of the nervous system, the brain and your capacity to self-regulate

* Switching the default setting of the mind, so that you see more of the good in your life

* And much more

 With a theory informed by psychology and neuroscience, this course will give you a clear conceptual idea of what mindfulness is. You’ll also experience mindfulness with simple practices that you can integrate both formally and informally into your life.

There will be opportunity for discussion where you can ask questions and get clarification on your mindfulness practice. You’ll explore a relational way of being with yourself that invites kindness and self-compassion.

You may not know it right now, but committing to a mindfulness practice has the capacity to change your life, in both subtle and momentous ways.

There is an early bird price available, do take advantage of it and book now.
