MINDFULNESS FOR HEALTH
8 WEEK COURSE
Do you have a long-term health problem? Are you in chronic pain? Mindfulness has been clinically proven to help people manage pain, illness and fatigue.
On this eight-week course you will learn mindfulness strategies to ease your suffering from physical ill-health and associated stress.
The course is based on the British Medical Association award-winning book by Vidyamala Burch 'Mindfulness for Health'.
The course takes place within a small, supportive and friendly group setting. It is open to all on a self-referral basis, including those living with chronic back pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, post-operative pain, cancer, multiple sclerosis, neuropathies, Parkinson's disease, and many other types of pain and illness.
Date: This course is covered over 8 Saturday afternoons from 24 September to 12 November.
Time: 2.30 – 5.00 pm weekly.
Cost: Course cost is FREE and includes a course manual and meditation downloads. A donation of $50 running costs is suggested.
