Would you like to learn progressions towards handstand? This workshop is for you.
The workshop will cover:
· Progressions leading into handstands, as well as teach you how to move the body to accommodate different hand balance variations.
· Exercises to build the strength required for press to handstand, straddle toe touches and even work on technique for progressions like; Crow to Handstand.
· We will also look at different mobility and recovery stretches that will help you hang out upside down for as long as you like, balance permitting of course.
· As the workshop will be progressive, it doesn't matter if you are a handstand first timer or and seasoned pro - all levels welcome.
Haydn has always had extremely active lifestyle. From a young age Haydn trained as an elite level gymnast at the Western Australian Institute of Sport and was named in the 2004 Olympic training squad. He also spent 10 years as a professional dancer and acrobat touring all over the world. Haydn has always practiced yoga as a way to keep his body in tip top shape and injury free. Haydn completed his 200 hour Power Yoga Teacher training and is extremely honoured to be part of the team at Kula.
