Description

Introduction To Inversions And Arm-Balances
With Kula Teacher Stephanie Williams

Every practice starts with a good foundation. Join experienced Yoga Teacher Stephanie Williams to learn the principle ideas underpinning your arm-balance and inversion practice.

You will explore how to create more ease and control to prepare for further advancements in your practice. Poses will include crow pose, handstand, forearm stand and variations.

In this 2 hour workshop we will:
~ Break down the basics to set yourself up for a strong inversion and arm balance practice.
~ Use props and techniques to create more strength and awareness.
~ Work on shoulder and core strength, as well as correct alignment.
~ Open the body to allow it to move with more freedom and lightness in the poses.

By the end of the session you will have gained skills you can apply to your regular practice to keep building strength and trust in your body. You will feel a greater sense of the foundations required for an inversion practice and a sense of lightness.

This workshop is great for all levels, whether you are flying your crow or don't even know what it is. All are welcome!
