YOGA FOR THE INDIVIDUAL
An individually tailored approach to teaching private yoga classes
with Katie Manitsas at Sukha Mukha Yoga in Bronte.
Date and Time: Thursday 9th May: 8:00am - 5:30pm, Friday 10th May: 8:00am - 3:30pm & Saturday 11th May: 9:45am - 6:00pm
Learn how to work with students individually, drawing on the wisdom of ayurveda and one-to-one yoga. A private yoga class is a remarkable opportunity to help students deepen their practice, form positive habits and undo less supportive patterns that may have crept in. Teaching yoga to one person at a time can also be a great addition to your repertoire as a yoga teacher and when done well is very different to a group class. In this module we will explore some elements of ayurveda as a lens through which we can look at students as individuals, as well as self-practice and teaching of chanting (nada yoga), pranayama, meditation and sadhana (conscious spiritual practices) for one-to-one work.

You can pick one or more of the four modules for $750 each to accrue CPD points, or to deepen your understanding of a specific area. Please keep in mind you can not mix and match days across different modules and no qualification will be awarded on completion.
